Jurva Martin has many years of experience working with contractors, including resolution of construction defect disputes from negotiations and mediation, through trial verdict.  Jurva Martin attorneys have represented commercial developers, general contractors, and specialty trades in many multi-million dollar condominium, townhome, single-family home and commercial real estate construction defect claims.

In 2010 the team of Jurva Martin defended a general contractor in one of Oregon's largest and most complex construction defect cases involving a $20 million prayer for partial collapse of a commercial warehouse.  The jury trial lasted about 7 weeks and the final verdict was for an amount less than the demand, and it was allocated among several other parties, including plaintiff.  This result for our client was well below any of the plaintiff's pre-trial and trial demands.
